Gary has been an International Consultant and trainer with experience and research in negotiation and influencing skills and project management capabilities since 1989. Exclusively focused on the development of negotiation and influencing skills and project management capabilities within client organisations.
As well as providing advanced negotiation skills and project management training, Gary also provides consultancy services to help teams, individuals and organisations to maximise their outcomes in important negotiations and projects. It is this ‘hands on’ experience that makes his training so practical and fully field-tested.
He has commercial experience from his time as a surveyor and project manager with a leading London practise and Managing Director of Effective Development Limited and training experience as Principal and Course Director at the University of Westminster, London.
He has carried out research into the development of personal skills and the effectiveness of certain personality traits in management activities and negotiation.
Representative Client Engagements
Gary advised a multinational company in their negotiations with a southern African government and another with the American Department of Justice. He reengineered a major global project for an insurance company. He has designed and facilitated a skills development programme to embed negotiation excellence across the European division of a major pharmaceutical company.
