Mike has been a coach, facilitator and trainer for the last 15 years. Over that period Mike has developed his work to range from small one-off pieces of coaching or facilitation through to large complex organisational development projects. These larger projects often involve multi-level elements – strategy creation, leadership coaching, group and team coaching, event design and facilitation, training, the use of development tools such as action learning and development centres, and the use of specific or customized psychometric tools. Mike takes a particular pleasure in the challenge of engaging small and large groups towards the goals of the organization, and then coaching leaders towards the relevant measures of high performance and results.
Mike has over 30 year’s business experience. Beginning in creative and then later management roles in the Music Business, Mike brought that inherent creativity to roles in service/product design in the Health & Social Care sector, where he eventually moved from operational to successful strategic people development roles.
Representative Client Engagements:
- Mike Coached a Regional Sales Director of a global Financial Services organisation to take his team from around 40th in the organisation in terms of financial results, up to 12th. The leader in question had moved from one team to another, and had not reached this level of success with his previous team. The shift in team performance led saw him achieve a high performance award from his company.
- Mike developed internal coaching networks in two NHS trusts. Impressed by the calibre of the coaching delivered by Mike to both organisations, they invited him to custom design the programme to suit the structure, culture and goals of their own situation. Mike was also involved in designing the marketing campaign to attract its internal customers.
